He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John F., Sr. and Hazel Lindquist (Walt); his wife Elaine Sterling; his children, Lori Walters (John) of Morton and John Lindquist (Susan) of Naperville, Ill.; his grandchildren, Haley, Jared, Seth, Chloe Walters, Jack, Evan and Marlo Lindquist; his brothers, Charles Lindquist (Dee) and Robert Lindquist (Carol); his sister-in-law JoAnne Avery (Leslie); and his nephews, David Lindquist (Amanda) and Eric Lindquist.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed during the visitation and funeral service and masks are required.
Memorials may be made to the Morton United Methodist Church, Wounded Warrior Project or Operation Smile.
