Joe R. Nelson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2021, at the age of 87, Joe R. Nelson of Morton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Nelson and Elsie Friedrichsen Nelson; his wife Carole Osborn; his children, Joseph and Julia Frawley; and his siblings, Herbert Nelson and Della Carson.

He is survived by: his former wife Margie June Malchert; his son Jim Nelson (Debera) of Eureka, IL; his son-in-law Mike Frawley of Bloomington, IL; his grandchildren, Ben Sayer, Stacee Doyle, Josh Drummond, Emily Graber and Shelby Nelson; and his stepchildren, Stephen D. Osborn, Elizabeth C. Mountjoy (Kyle), Diane R. Sands (Jacob) and Jaime D. Cline (Joe). He is also survived by step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
