He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Schmidgall and Ina Schmidgall (Rash); his wife Connie Schmidgall (Zoller); his daughter Lea Ann Aberle (Steve) of McLean, Ill.; his grandchildren, Tyler Aberle, Annie Aberle and Katie Goujon (Jess); his siblings, Stephen Moore (Joanne) of Connecticut, Pat McElwain of New Mexico and James Schmidgall of Texas; his son Andy Schmidgall; and his sister Bev Ann Schmidgall.
Memorials may be made to the Peoria Rescue Mission.
