She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Ferreira and Lenora Ferreira (Botelho); her husband Richard "Dick" Kaps; her sons, Richard W. Kaps (Judy) of East Peoria and David G. Kaps (Georgia) of Morton; her grandchildren, Megan Mobeck (Mike), Jason, Jennifer and Caitlin Kaps; her great grandchildren, Logan, Cameron, Morgan Mobeck, Braeden Kaps and Georgia Clark; her stepgrandchildren, Mike Holliday, Robin Bennett, Hope Ware and Jon Kaps; and her brothers, Joseph and George Ferreira.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice, in Irene's memory.
