He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry and Cordelia Kruse, Jr. (Remmert); his wife Glenda Kruse of Morton; his son Allen Kruse (Michele) of Tremont; his grandson Brett Melvin Kamm (Austin) of St. Petersburg, Fla.; his brothers, Dale Kruse of Groveland, Ronnie Kruse (Judy) of Groveland and Robert Kruse of Tremont; his daughter Debra Melvin; and his brother Otto Baum. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Runner's Association or Grace Church.
