With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry Schmidgall of Morton, Illinois, born in Edelstein, Illinois, who passed away on September 20, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Schmidgall and Lydia Schmidgall (Dallinger); his son-in-law Mark Nelson; his children, Steven Schmidgall (Christine) of Peoria, Randy Schmidgall (Cindy) of Goodfield, Jane Kieser (Jeff) of Morton and Sherry Jones of East Peoria; his grandchildren, Heidi LaFont (Steve), Hans Schmidgall (Mandy), Angela Schieber (Jared), Brent Schmidgall (Abby), Scott Kieser (Arika), Trent Kieser, Monica Blank (Tim) and Alicia Oltman (Jared); and his sister Ruth Martin of Eureka. He was also cherished by 17 great-grandchildren.
