Gwendolyn Sommer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Sommer of Morton, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry C. Carius and Magdalen Carius (Wilhelm); her brother Marvin; and her son Rob. She is survived by: her sons, Roger Sommer (Carol Morrisey) of Morton and Keith Sommer (Deborah) of Mackinaw; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Sommer of Pekin; her brother Robert Carius of Cave City, Ark.; her granddaughters, Kristen Sommer, Megan Sommer, Robin Pitoscia (Michael) and Renee Teichman (Duane); and her husband Phil. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton.
