He was predeceased by: his parents, William Otto and Emma Pflederer Roth; his siblings, Oscar, Irvin, Elson Roth of Morton and Wilma Fehr of Eureka; and his daughter-in-law Kimberly Roth (Ron) of Danvers.

He is survived by: his wife Lucille Foster; his children, Karen, Gehrt of Blacksburg, Virginia, Connie Roth of Naperville, Bonnie Roth of Morton, Ron Roth of Danvers, William Roth (Jan) of Morton and David Roth (Tracie) of Atlanta; and his siblings, Harold Roth of Roanoke, Les Roth (Sara) of Washington and Gladys Henderson of Eureka. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren as well as great grandchildren and step grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the American Heart Association or to the American Brain Tumor Association.
