He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ocie Selvey and Mary Selvey (Meister); his wife Ethel Selvey of Morton; his children, MaryAnn Bauman (James) of Morton and Steven J. Selvey (Julie) of Morton; and his grandchildren, Jacob Bauman (Naomi) of Tremont, Justin Bauman (Jolene) of Morton, Melinda Bauman of Morton, Patrick Selvey of Morton and Claire "CJ" Selvey of Morton. He was also cherished by five great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton or Central Illinois Memorial Kidney Fund (CIMKF).
