She was predeceased by: her parents, Nuel Edward Kyle and Pearl Lillian Tanner; her daughter Renee; her siblings, Lucille, Lois and Wayne; and her pet Kylee.

She is survived by: her former spouse Dale Smith; her husband John Krus; and her sons, Randy Smith (Tammy) and Chuck Smith (Debbie). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 5 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate in Peoria.
