With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ernie Smith of Morton, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ernie left this world on January 12, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Smith, and Pauline Smith, Sr. (Quine); his wife Regina "Reggie" Hurst; and his sister Paulette. He is survived by: his daughters, Joann Pazen and Jodi Murray (Chris); his grandchildren, Riley, Ivan and Leo; his sister Vicki Bradshaw (Donald); and his cousin Peoria.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home (140 S Detroit Ave, Morton, IL 61550). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
