He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Tharp and Mary Tharp (Boyd). He is survived by: his wife Linda Tharp of Morton; his sons, Brian Tharp (Janelle) of New Braunfels and David Tharp of Low Point, Illinois; his stepdaughters, Lori Broderson (Mitchell) of Washburn and Jill Cummins (Tim Harbaugh) of Morton; and his siblings, Tony Tharp, Danny Tharp and Marylin Wooddell. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
