She was predeceased by: her parents, William Zulz and Julia Zulz (Pleshe); and her brother William Zulz of Wenona. She is survived by: her children, Greg O'Connell (Judy), Sue Mroz (Paul) of Peoria, Julie O'Connell Bishop of Jupiter, Fla. and Michael O'Connell (Wiesia Mancewicz) of Chicago; her grandchildren, Christina Burmester (Brian) of Renton, Wash, Brittany Barnett (Brian) of Indianapolis, Ind and Zachary Bishop of Boca Raton, Fla.; her great grandchildren, Blake, Kate, Connor Barnett, Andi and Austin Burmester; and her sister Charlotte Long of Wenona.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Illinois Cancer Care, St. Jude Runner's Association, Sophia's Kitchen or Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
