He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dee Fred and Emma Zehr Smith; his children, Joy Deanne Mason (Paul), Melody Sue Smith and Delmar Dan Smith, Jr. (Cathy); his grandchildren, Joshua Smith (Whitney), Anna Bittner (Chad), Jessica Mason, Abby Vaughan (Casey), Suanne Medina (Ramiro) and Emma Mason; his great grandchildren, Kendra, Kylie, Gabriel, Connor, Addie, Lorelei, Jacqueline, Peyton, Keeley, Olivia, Wyatt and Maria; his sister Delores Hasan Al-Marayati; and his nephew Todd Al-Marayati.
