With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Jay Howell of Morton, Illinois, born in Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on May 24, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pershing Howell and Hazel Howell (Turner); his son Michael Jay Howell; and his brother Pershing Lee Howell. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Howell of Morton; his daughters, Jennifer Kiesewetter (Kevin) of Normal and Janelle Howell of East Peoria; his grandchildren, Andrew Howell (Liana), Chris Kavanaugh and Katie Kiesewetter; and his great grandchild Carter Kavanaugh.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Morton or the St. Jude Riders.
