It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Keith Sheckler of Morton, Illinois, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sheckler and Muriel Sheckler (Teach); his wife Lela A. McCloskey (Fidler); and his brothers, Howard and Donald Sheckler.
He is survived by: his children, Mike McCloskey (Liz) of Ipava and Diana Jansen (Ron) of Pekin; his grandchildren, Leigha Jansen, Bili McCloskey and Kyle Jansen (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Mavrick Jansen, Jazper Jansen, Henry Jansen, Oskar Jansen and Karigan Jansen; his great great grandchild Kaleigha; and his sister Deloris Postin. He is also survived by two nephews and two nieces.
