He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marvin Hess and Mable Hess (Ratliff); his wife Rosalie Hess (Hoopes); his children, Coralie "Corky" Rice (Leslie) of Danville, IN, Cheryl Fiedler (Richard) of Morton, IL, Cathy Toplyn (Ronald) of Bellvue, CO and Charles William "Chuck" Hess Jr. (April) of Danville, IN.; and his grandchildren, Chris Fiedler (Sharon), Chad Green, Curt Fiedler (Sara), Craig Fiedler (Karen), Jimmy Fiedler (Tara), Jackie Fiedler, Mark Rice, Melissa Jones (Josh), Marcie Bird (Paul), Jason Hess (Brielle), Joy Hess, John Toplyn and Ronnie Toplyn. He was also cherished by 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Guideline regarding social distancing and wearing of masks will be followed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Refuge TEAM Ministries at Pekin First Church of the Nazarene.
