He is survived by: his wife Nancy Nelson of Deer Creek; his sons, Eric Nelson (Leslie) of Germantown Hills and Todd Nelson (Shayla) of Claremont; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Kolson Nelson, Arden "AJ" and Abilene "Abbi" Nelson; his sister Judy Fiste of Malden, Illinois; his sister-in-law Diane Schieber (Jeff) of Carlock, Illinois; and his nephews, Keith Fiste, Korey Fiste (Jen), Michael Bell (Tina) and Chad Bell.
