He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Albers and Elisabeth Albers (Wickenhauser); his son-in-law Rick Bott; his granddaughter Abbey Bott; and his siblings-in-law, Vicki Albers and Dick Schuettner.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Spears; his children, Elisabeth Albers, Steven Albers, Debbie Bott (Scott Brejcha), Kathy Schoenbein (Kirk), Sharon Mathison (Brent) and Susan Kazi (Hassan); his grandchildren, Neal Bott, Olivia Bott, Carly Hill (Kyle), Heidi O'Brien (Zach), Jodi Cochrane (Jake), Abishai Schoenbein (Kaitlyn), Benaiah Schoenbein, John Mathison, Courtney Mathison, Kylie Mathison, Rahman Kazi, Khaleel Kazi and Jessmine Kazi; his siblings, Don Albers, Joanie Albers (Steve Sands), Rick Albers, Jim Albers (Ginny) and John Albers (Santica Marcovina); and his sister-in-law Candy Schuettner. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
