With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bettye Jean Cone of Morton, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Bishop and Deliah Bishop (Roy); her son Terry Ryan Cone; her grandson Brent Thomas Cone; and her brothers, Hulon Bishop, Paul Bishop, Michael Bishop and Buddy Bishop.
She is survived by: her spouse Rev. Thomas Richard Cone; and her children, Thomas Randall "Randy" Cone (Elaine) of Morton, Kevin Cone (Kelly) of Pekin, Celinda "Cindy" Johnson (Steve) of Pekin and Lori Wagner (Kurt) of Morton. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
