Barry Sager Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barry Sager of Morton, Illinois, born in Galion, Ohio, who passed away on January 8, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert Sager; his son Barry James Sager; and his brother Rick Jewell. He is survived by: his mother Jane Claussen of Punta Gorda, Fla.; his wife Gretchen Sager of Morton; his children, Penni Sperry (Bill) of Normal, Philip Cooper (Kelly) of Goodfield, Tylor Murray (Michelle) of Longview, Jason McChristian (Rosalyn) of Merrillville, Ind, Melinda Bennett (Joe) of Wheatfield and Patricia Parry (Shaun) of Fort Smith, Ark.; and his siblings, Nancy Hall of Punta Gorda, Fla. and Tom Jewell of Vandalia, Mich.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morton American Legion.
