She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mark Ahern and Lillian Ahern (O'Neill); her husband Robert Gorrie; her sisters, Mary Ann Cummings and Patricia Ahern; her children, Rick Gorrie (Teresa) of Washington, Mark Gorrie (Tammy Mebane) of Indianapolis, Ind, Steve Gorrie (Nicole) of Bloomington, Kat Gorrie of Thornton, Colo and Tony Gorrie (Hollis) of Arlington Heights, Ill.; and her grandchildren, Jeff Gorrie, Nick Gorrie (Brea), Kayli Rumple (Caleb), Hannah Gorrie, Joshua Gorrie (Paige), Michael Gorrie and Penny Gorrie.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed during the visitation and funeral service and masks are required.
Memorials may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation (for Parkinson's research) or New Castle Bible Church.
