It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Coon of Morton, Illinois, who passed away on June 12, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bapes and Elizabeth Bapes; her daughter Laura; and her brothers, Peter Bapes and Bob Bapes.

She is survived by: her sibling Greek; her husband Darrel Coon of Peoria, Illinois.; her children, Jason Coon (Emily), Abbie Schick (Kevin), Emily Price (David), Ashley Coon and Tiffany Martin (Luke); and her sisters, Jeanine Staszcuck and JoAnne Justice. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to WBNH Radio 88.5 in Peoria, Illinois, which provided music and encouragement to Alice throughout her life (Please designate checks "In memory of Alice Coon").
