She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George Noorts; her children, Gerry Noorts (Annie) and Diane Ficek (Joe); her grandchildren, Joey Ficek, George Noorts, Erik Noorts, Molly Uchtman, Annika and Nora Short; her daughter-in-law Annie; and her stepgranddaughter Molly.

She lived in Morton Grove until Alzheimer's made living alone impossible.
