He was predeceased by: his son Billy; his grandson Donovan James Early; his parents, James Patrick and Florence; and his brother Gerald.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Alice; his children, Jim (Maggie), Kevin, Maggie Early (Brian) and Dan (Kelli); his grandchildren, Catie, Lauren, Jimmy Murphy, Shaun (Jessica), Patrick, Meegan, Connor, Brigid, Brenna, Ronan Early, Kaitlin Mockler (Tom), Kellsie, Danny, Matthew Murphy, Billy and Ryan Murphy; and his great grandchild Tommy Mockler.
