He was predeceased by: his brother Fred; his grandsons, Gene and John; and his parents, Fred Meek and Mabel Meek.
He is survived by: his wife Marian; and his children, Jim (Maxine), Nancie Tracy (John), Joyce Reid (Bob), Gene (Diane), John Dianne, Pam Becker (Mick), Janice Harty (Scott), Deb Conti (Pete), Bill (Tina) and Mary Stenger (Ted).
