She was predeceased by: her father James Mathis. She is survived by: her mother Anne Mathis (Hazelwood) of Medora; her husband Steven V. Bethard of Morrisonville; her children, Matt Bergschneider (Jana) of Taylorville, Madee Christian (Ryan) of Bremerton, WA, Sam Bethard of Morrisonville, Steve Bethard (Jayne) of Morrisonville, Shawn Bethard (Amy) of Morrisonville and Tim Bethard (Jenny) of Morrisonville; and her brothers, Dale Mathis (Deonia) of Shipman, Marty Mathis (Michelle) of Shipman, James "Dude" Mathis of Medora and Tom Mathis (Rebecca) of Medora. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
