He is survived by: his mother-in-law Darlene A. Weitekamp; his wife Darlene of Morrisonville; his children, Eric O'Brien (Becky) of Morrisonville, Kathy O'Brien (Eric Jackstadt) of Carlinville and Marla McGaw (Brad) of Poplar Grove; his grandchildren, Steven O'Brien (Elysse) of Morrisonville, Kenny O'Brien (Jensen) of Morrisonville, Amanda Brockelsby (Bryce) of Edinburg, Lauren Behme (Dwight) of Carlinville, Abby Fancher (Andrew) of Panama City and Jacob McGaw of Orlando, Florida; his great grandchildren, Jackson Davis, Coop O'Brien, Reid Behme, Allison Brockelsby and Liam O'Brien; and his brother Joseph O'Brien of Taylorville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
