He was predeceased by: his parents, John McKinnie and Ethel McKinnie (Jarrett); his siblings, Pearl Lewis, Marjorie Blount, Jean Montgomery, Cecil McKinnie, Glenn'Spud'McKinnie, Harry and Red McKinnie; and his grandson Joshua Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Lee Gant of Morrisonville; his children, Janet Lee Smith (Paul) of Silvis, IL, James Raymond McKinnie of Morrisonville and Thomas Michael McKinnie (Philana) of St. Charles, MO; his grandchildren, Jacob Smith (Karen), Darla Kerwin (Justin), Michael McKinnie and Abbi McKinnie; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Theodore, Peter, Connor and Jack. He is also survived by His children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials to be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital in St. Louis in lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts.
