She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stringer and Mary Frances Stringer (Freese); her daughter Gloria Jean Dixon; her daughter-in-law June Dixon; and her siblings, Chester Gibson, Wayne Slagel, Virginia Hendricks and Dorothy Patraski.
She is survived by: her husband Earl S. Dixon of Morrisonville; her children, David Earl Dixon of Dallas, TX, Linda Traylor of Springfield and Rickey Dixon of Taylorville; and her grandchildren, James Merrifield, Brooke Herrick, Amber Dixon and Rachel Dixon. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
