He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard John and Mary Jane Rhoads (Kinney); and his brothers, Raymond, Richard and Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rhoads (Dougherty); his children, Bernie (Missi) of Platte City, Randy (Kate) of Ashburn, VA and Aimee (Ken) of Chatham, IL; his grandchildren, Lexie, Katie, Ally, Evan, Trey, Jaxon, Jimmy, Fletch, Connor and Mia; and his sisters, Barbara Cole (Harley) of St. Charles, MO and Terry Haare (Larry) of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
