She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Tryon and Mary Tryon (Hansen); and her son Leon Tryon. She is survived by: her spouse Murl E. Tryon; her children, Murl, Grace of Bristol, VA, Lynn Tryon of Morrisonville, IL and Lyle; and also Himstedt of Bristol, VA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 4 nephews.
