It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donnie Harris (Morrisonville, Illinois), born in Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on April 5, 2019, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Harris and Loretta Harris (Scott); and his brother Billy Joe Harris. He is survived by: his sisters, Diane Kane (Pat) of Morrisonville, IL and Marietta Dunkirk (Gary) of Morrisonville, IL; his nephew Dereke Dunkirk (Chelsea) of Morrisonville, IL; his nieces, Ashley Dunkirk Niewinski (Rhett) of Minneola, FL and Courtney Kane DeClerck (Jake) of Taylorville, IL; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Adelaide, Gentry, Rigby, Joscelyn, Kohen, Gunnar, Gage, Zoe and Tinsley. He is also survived by 4 aunts; and several cousins.

Food donations may be brought to the American Legion Post 721 on Monday.

“What a good man! I'm so glad I got to know him. We used to hang out and have a few beers in my garage. We went to the state fair. He was so sweet and kind!
