It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lowis (Morrisonville, Illinois), born in Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on February 10, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Howard "Squab"; and his brother Don Lowis. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Lowis (Dowdy) of Taylorville; his wife Brenda Lowis of Taylorville; his children, Molly Williams (Rustin) of Shelbyville, Adam Lowis of Taylorville, John Lowis (Patty) of Morrisonville, Kaci DeVore (D. J.) of Taylorville and Amy Skebe (Shane) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Kristen Goodwin, Logan, Drake, Myles Williams, Thomas, Ava, Allison, Luke Lowis, Trevor Abbott, Gage McCallum, Jaylynn DeVore and Gage Price; and his siblings, Danny Lowis (Sandy) of Waverly Hall, GA, Doris Melvin of Tovey, Dale Lowis (Mary) of Palmer, Bill Lowis (Mary) of Morrisonville, Jean Overcash (Dana) of Esmond, ND, Dick Lowis of Palmer, Gary Lowis (Tammy) of Taylorville, Steve Lowis of Palmer, Vern Lowis (Maureen Dowdy) of Taylorville and Jim Cummins (Dawn) of Interlochen, MI. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
