"Shorty"; his brother Phil; his wife Donna Kelmel of Morrisonville, IL; his sons, Chris Kelmel (Tina) of Arcola and Derek Kelmel of Morrisonville, IL; his stepchildren, Aaron Durbin and Kristin Hunt (Tim); his grandchildren, Hailey Hunt, Madison Hunt, Ryan Decker (Kesia), Laney, Brooklyn, Nolan, Spencer and Phoenix Kelmel; his mother Frances Frost of Taylorville, IL; his siblings, Philip Kelmel (Susie) of Morrisonville, IL, Ann Nation (Bob) of Stonington, IL, Susan Moomey (Kevin) of Morrisonville, IL, James Kelmel (Sharon) of Morrisonville, IL and Bill Kelmel (Dwanna) of Taylorville, IL; and his aunt Ruth Hefley of Hillsboro, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
