She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald M. Newingham, and Maxine Newingham, Sr. (Crabtree); her husband Gerald D. Cross; her sons, Walter Walden and Randy Walden; and her siblings, Gerald M. Newingham, Jr., Carl William Newingham, Wanda Newingham and Kathy E. Summers.
She is survived by: her former husband Wilbert Ray Walden; her sons, Dennis Walden (Della) of Jacksonville, Steven Walden of Jacksonville, Kenny Walden of Meredosia, Craig Walden (Shannon Smith) of Morrisonville, Neil Walden (Alice) of Morrisonville and Andy Walden of Morrisonville; her stepchildren, Barbara Chamberlain (Bill) of Kissimmee, FL, Norma Cross of Taylorville and Michael Cross (Cherrie) of Mineral Wells, TX; and her siblings, Joe Newingham (Mellisa), Vickie Lynn Cleer, Lisa Wilkinson (Mike Bauser) and Barbara F. Miller. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
