Anita Marie Grundy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2023, at the age of 90, Anita Marie Grundy of Morrisonville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Scott and Margaret Scott (Young); her husband John Robert "Bob" Grundy; and her siblings, Catherine Bailey, Bernard Scott and Shirley Conaway.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Ann O'Connell (Bill) of Morrisonville and Bobby Grundy (Penny) of Morrisonville; her grandchildren, Jon O'Connell (Shannon), Blaine O'Connell (Ashlyn), Justin O'Connell, Cassie O'Connell, Matthew Grundy (Heidi), Jamie Moore (Craig) and Lindsay Grundy; her great grandchildren, Cash, Brady, Charlotte, Olivia, Brock, Teagan, Harper, Ross, Avery, Mia, Mabel and Nolan; her siblings, Donald Scott of Taylorville, Leon Scott (Beverly) of Taylorville, Russell Scott (Nancy) of California and Mary Lou Clayton of Mt. Auburn; and her sisters-in-law, Helen "Shorty" Healy, Mary "Mae" Hilby (Walt) of Springfield, Ruth "Tip" Matli (Bob) of Harvel, Alice "Pudge" Downey (Kirk) of Morrisonville and Rose Gowin (Bob) of Morrisonville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
