It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Ruth Burkholder of Morrison, Illinois, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Doorenbos and Rena Doorenbos (Rose); her husband Dale A. Burkholder; and her brother-in-law Wayne Longanecker. She is survived by: her children, Debra Morrison (Jim) of Omaha, NE, Deann Van Zuiden (Rodney) of Byron, IL, Dean Burkholder (Alicia) of Morrison, David Burkholder (Lori) of Charlotte, IA, Daryl Burkholder (Laurie) of LeClaire, IA and Daniel Burkholder (Cyndi) of Bettendorf, IA; her sisters, Mary Longanecker of Morrison and Karen Mulnix (Dewey) of Morrison; and her siblings-in-law, Diana Greiner (Paul) of Portage, WI and Dennis Burkholder (Arlene) of Morrison. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to Gaffey Hospice, Sterling, IL.
