It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Jean Tegeler of Morrison, Illinois, born in Fenton, Illinois, who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Tegeler and Marguerite Tegeler (Strating); her sister Mary Tegeler; her niece Valerie Hale; her nephew Brian Tegeler; and her brother-in-law Arden Anderson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Verna Anderson of Morrison, IL, Karen Sweikar (Bob) of Savoy, IL, Debra Michalik (Al) of Buckeye, AZ, Kenny Tegeler (Gayle) of Fulton, IL and Roger Tegeler (Debbie) of Morrison, IL; and her caregivers, Donna, Marlene and Mary Jane. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews.
During her lifetime, Wilma made significant contributions to the workforce, working for the former Fidelity Life Insurance Company in Fulton, IL, and later serving as a department manager at Sears in Kewanee.
