He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Temple and Alice Temple (Logemeyer); and his sisters, Jean Geerts Valk and Phyllis Huizenga. He is survived by: his wife Loretta J. Klount; and his son Kent Temple (Lorna) of Morrison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
