She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl John and Mary Elizabeth Planthaber (Reynolds); her husband Calvin Wing; and her siblings, Carly Chapman, Mary Jane Everly, Barb Skibbe and Carl Planthaber.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Melton (Benny) of Comer, GA, Steve Carter of Danielsville, GA and Alan Carter (Anna) of Hamilton, MT. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bosma-Renkes - Morrison Chapel (404 Lincoln Hwy, Morrison, IL 61270). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
