Ruth E. Baker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth E. Baker of Morrison, Illinois, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Culver Hovey and Jessie Hovey (Ellsworth); her husband Clarence "Bud" Baker; her daughters, Linda Baker (Al Jolley) and Marjorie Letcher (Wayne); her grandchildren, Christina Neely, Teresa Baker (Shawn Meredith), Paul Letcher (Jennifer) and Amy Kelley (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Olivia, Avery, Donovan, Eden, Simon and Callan. She was also cherished by her parents, her family included nine siblings.
Ruth's family respectfully asks that COVID mitigation procedures be followed and masks be worn by guests. The funeral service will be private; interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison.
