He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn N. Zuidema and Grace Zuidema (Norman); his son Mark "Woody" Woodward; his grandson Dylan Zuidema; and his brother Gerald Zuidema.
He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Ann Knox; his wife Jean Skyles; his children, Mary Covell (Clair) of Morrison and Vincent Zuidema (Sheila) of Morrison; his stepchildren, Sherrie Kopp (Steve) of Daytona Beach, FL, Terrie Petersen (John) of Bryant, IA and Randy Weller (Deb) of Camanche, IA; and his siblings, Pat Stoecker (Lyle) of Morrison and James G. Zuidema (Trudy) of Bettendorf, IA.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established by the family.
