It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roberta Jean Lane of Morrison, Illinois, born in Fulton, Illinois, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Houzenga and Edna Houzenga (Morgan); her husband Thurman G. Lane; and her brother Ronald Houzenga. She is survived by: her children, Jolene DeBerg (Michael) of Clinton, IA, Michael Lane of LeClaire, IA and T. Dale Lane (Robin) of Russell, KS; and her siblings, Connie Wiebenga (Raymond) of Fulton, IL, Harlan Houzenga of Morrison, IL and Gary Houzenga (Bette) of Springfield, MO.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bosma-Renkes - Fulton Chapel (1500 10th Ave, Fulton, IL 61252). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to Resthave Assisted Living.
