He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin McCoy and Elizabeth McCoy (Noble); and his siblings, Nancy Chapman, Lawanda Franks and Eldon McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Wiebenga; his children, Sheila Osborn (Roger) of Morrison, IL, Staci Stewart (Edward) of Amboy, IL and Michael McCoy (Dana) of Morrison, IL; his grandchildren, Alexander Osborn (Cheznee), Nathaniel Osborn, Zachariah Osborn, Cassandra Osborn, Edward Cole Stewart, Kelsey Stewart, Kyle McCoy and Kaleb McCoy (Alyvia); his great grandchildren, Amelia and Archer Osborn; and his brothers, Ronald McCoy (Rosa) of Macomb, IL and William McCoy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bosma-Renkes - Morrison Chapel (404 Lincoln Hwy, Morrison, IL 61270). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to the Timber Lake Playhouse in Mt. Carroll, IL.
