It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian VanDerLeest of Morrison, Illinois, born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Meiners and Reka Meiners (Camps); her husband Arnold VanDerLeest; her sons, Terry Joe and Richard VanDerLeest; and her granddaughter Melissa VanDerLeest.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Stephens (Carl) of Morrison, John VanDerLeest (Christy) of Morrison, Marcia Brands (Dave) of Morrison, Mike VanDerLeest (Rudy Wright) of DeBary, FL, Sandy Huizenga (Lester) of Morrison and Jeff VanDerLeest of Moline. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in her memory to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
