She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry R. Medema and Fannie Medema (VanDyke); her husband Howard J. Houzenga; her siblings, Eleanor Schipper, Betty Schipper, Alvin and Joe; and her daughter-in-law Diane Houzenga.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Weber (David) of Morrison, IL, Karen Smidt (Warner) of Fulton, IL, James Houzenga of Trempealeau, WI and Robert Houzenga (Debra) of Fulton, IL. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren.
