She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Norman and Lois Norman (Brondyke); her husband David Vanderlaan; her brothers, Steven and Kenneth Norman; and her granddaughter Amanda Conerly.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Dale Vanderlaan (Michelle) of Oak Park, IL, Doug Vanderlaan (Renee) of Morrison, IL, Dawn Meurs (Scott) of Morrison, IL and Darwin Vanderlaan (Lisa) of Morrison, IL; her grandchildren, Stacy Worth (Elliot), Cassandra Meurs (Maxwell Leib), Grant, Beau Vanderlaan, Hannah Mathius (Bobby), Benjamin Vanderlaan, Samantha Volckmann (Nick) and Cody Vanderlaan; her sisters, Pat Hartman (Jim) of Stratford, TX and Myra Norman of Denver, CO; and her nephews, Mark, Kurt and Derek.
A memorial has been established to Ebenezer Reformed Church and the Alzheimer's Association.
