He was predeceased by: his parents, John Renkes and Maggie Renkes (Vos); his son Russell Renkes; his brothers, LaVerne and Milton Renkes; and his parents-in-law, Carl and Effie Kuehl.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Kuehl of Morrison; his children, Angela Renkes of Morrison, Randy Renkes of Morrison and Andrew Renkes (Kimberly) of Morrison; his grandchildren, Paige LaShelle, Jeremiah Renkes (Trina), Jedediah Renkes (Brandi), Kyla Hanson (Greg), McKenzie Renkes, Emma Renkes, Allison Smith (Eli), Tate Renkes, Katelynne Busch, Courtney Stearns and Brenden Stearns; and his brother Morry Renkes (Jan) of Clinton, IA.. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
