It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Dale Hanson of Morrison, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Hanson and Helen Hanson (Harvey); his sister Barbara Skoog; and his brother-in-law Henry Skoog. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Hanson of Morrison; his daughters, Jennifer Hanson of Cordell, OK, Christie Hanson of Portland, OR, Tara Coers (Brian) of Savanna and Jacklyn Hanson of Morrison; his grandchildren, Christopher Allen, Nickolas Hanson, Trevor Carswell, Marcus Allen, Jonathan DeWild and Brynn Allen; his siblings, Mary Swearingen (Randy) of Rockford, Norman Hanson of Albany and Jeff Hanson (Angie) of Morrison; and his brothers-in-law, Gene Voss of Morrison and Neil Decker of Prophetstown.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to raise money for the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) Youth Education Scholarship .
